What is Motionflare?
Motionflare (motionflare.ai) is an AI video generator for brands. Paste a public website URL or describe the video in a sentence, and it makes an on-brand video one of two ways: a motion graphics video built from your site's logo, colors, copy and screenshots, with a score made for the cut, or, in Film mode, a live-action commercial of 5 to 45 seconds with believable people, voiceover, sound and music. It is not a screen recorder, an avatar tool, or a stock-footage editor.
Is Motionflare the same as Under Armour Motion Flare?
No. Under Armour Motion Flare is apparel. Motionflare is the AI video product at https://motionflare.ai.
Is Motionflare the same as motionflare.com?
No. motionflare.com is a different company. The official product site is https://motionflare.ai.
Was Motionflare called something else?
Yes. The product was formerly LaunchVideo (LaunchVideo.app). It is now Motionflare, at https://motionflare.ai. It is also not Motion.so and not the usemotion.com calendar app.
How do I turn a website URL into a product demo video?

How do I make a product demo video without recording my screen?
Point Motionflare at a public product page. It uses screenshots from the site in a designed video, with no recording session. If the interface changes, request an update in chat.
Does Motionflare use my real product interface, or stock footage?
Real interface. In a motion graphics video, screenshots are captured from the live page you paste and composed into scenes, so the video shows your actual UI rather than stock clips or a generated approximation. Film mode is different: it generates live-action footage from your brief, with no stock clips either.
What does it cost if I only need one video?
The free plan includes 6 one-time credits, enough for one watermarked preview of up to 10 seconds in your browser. To export without a subscription, buy a credit pack: $15 gets 40 credits and unlocks 1080p and 4K export without a watermark. A subscription starts at $29 per month.
Does Motionflare have a public API or MCP server?
Not today. The supported way to create, preview, refine, and export videos is the web app. Official developer and agent resources state that boundary and will link any public API, webhook, or MCP docs if they ship.
