A new video engine, Claude Opus 5.5, and pricing by the second

A new video engine

A video used to be a set of scenes stitched together, and the picture often sat still waiting for the voice. Now the whole video is planned at once and runs as one continuous piece:

• Nothing freezes, and cuts land on the beat
• Every video looks like its brand, in your site's own typefaces and colours, so two brands no longer come out alike
• Your uploaded images go in first
• The music is scored to the picture, so the drops land with the motion
• Narration is a switch, and videos are music-led by default

Any length from 10 to 90 seconds, to the second. Older projects stay as they were and still play and export.

Claude Opus 5.5 by default

Auto now writes every paid video on Opus 5.5. The new Sonnet 5.5 costs half as much, and if your balance cannot cover Opus, Auto switches to Sonnet and tells you. You can still pick any of the nine models yourself.

Edit a video from chat

• Only the sections you mention are rewritten; the rest stays as it is
• Fixing a typo is free, and so is asking a question

Pricing by the second

Export is unchanged: 2 credits at 1080p, 3 at 4K.

Flex: export without a subscription

• Credit packs start at $15 for 40 credits, never expire, and are the same on every plan
• Buying any pack makes your account Flex for good: every model, export, and no watermark, without the monthly credits
• The $15 one-time export is retired; exports already bought still work
