I'm Joey Zhu, an engineer by trade, and I built Motionflare. I can ship a product in a weekend. But the first time I had to make a video for one, I lost a week to timelines and keyframes, and what came out looked nothing like the thing I'd built.
Nobody warns you about that part. Building the product and getting it seen aren't two halves of one job. They're two different jobs. And almost every video tool wants you to become a motion designer before it will help you with the second one.
So we built Motionflare from the other end. You give it a URL, or one sentence. It reads your site and takes your real logo, your colors, your words. Then it writes the script, records the voiceover, animates every scene, and hands you a finished video. The complicated part still happens. We just moved it backstage.
We ship every week. Most days something new goes out, and almost all of it started with a founder telling us what could work better.
I know the hour this gets read. The product is finally done, the launch is tomorrow, and nobody has seen it yet. That hour is the reason Motionflare exists: so the year you spent building gets a thirty-second video worthy of it. Creating and previewing stay free. You shouldn't have to pay to find out whether your idea looks good.
Someday one of those videos will be the reason a product finds its first thousand people. I don't know whose yet. Until then, I'll look after every one of you on the other side of the screen. Your product deserves to be seen, and a marketing video shouldn't take weeks, let alone months. Thank you for trusting us with it.
