You paste a link to your homepage, a product page or a blog post, and the tool hands you back a video. Every tool on this list does some version of that. What differs is what the video looks like: some tools rebuild your page as motion graphics in your brand, some pull out your text and lay it over stock footage, and some put an AI presenter in front of your product.
This guide sorts the tools by that difference, so you can pick by the job you have. We make Motionflare, one of the tools below. To keep the list useful anyway, each tool is listed for what it does best, we point out where every tool falls short (ours included), and every price comes from the vendor's own pricing page, checked on November 3, 2026.
The short answer
- For an on-brand marketing or product video built from your real site: Motionflare. It reads your page's screenshots, logo, colors and copy and animates them into a scored motion-graphics video.
- For turning blog posts into stock-footage clips at volume: Pictory.
- For building a video from an article in a storyboard you control: Lumen5.
- For a narrated video from a prompt: InVideo AI.
- For an avatar ad from a product page: Creatify.

What happens when you paste a URL
Most of these tools start the same way: they fetch the page and pull out its text. What they do next falls into three groups, and the group decides what your video can and cannot show.
1. Rebuild the page as motion graphics. The tool keeps your brand. It reuses the page's real screenshots, logo and colors, and sets your headlines as typography. Your product appears as it really looks, and the words on screen stay legible. Motionflare works this way.
2. Summarize the page and match stock footage. The tool turns your text into a script and illustrates each line with clips from a stock library. It is fast and cheap per minute, and it suits articles. The trade-off is that the video won't show your product's interface, and the footage is the same footage everyone else using that library gets. Pictory and Lumen5 work this way, and InVideo AI does the same from a prompt.
3. Turn a product page into an avatar ad. The tool reads a product's name, images and selling points and writes a short ad presented by an AI actor, usually in a UGC style for TikTok or Meta. Creatify works this way.
A quick test before you pay for anything: paste the same URL into two tools from different groups and compare the results. Every tool here has a free plan or a trial that is enough for that.
1. Motionflare: best for an on-brand video from your real website
What you give it: a public URL, such as your homepage, a product page, a Product Hunt page or a changelog, or a one-sentence brief.
What you get: a motion-graphics video with a music score composed for the cut. Motionflare reads the page's copy, screenshots, logo and colors, plans a story from them and animates it. Product names, prices and headlines are set as type rather than generated as pixels, so they stay legible and correct. You can ask for changes in chat, turn on narration in a supported language, and export an MP4 at 1080p or 4K, in 16:9 or 9:16. Paid videos run from 10 to 90 seconds. Film mode turns the same URL into a live-action commercial of 5 to 45 seconds.
Pricing: free accounts get 6 one-time credits for a watermarked browser preview of up to 10 seconds, with no card. Exporting takes a $15 credit pack (40 credits, no subscription) or a plan from $29 a month (Pro, 100 credits a month). Video is priced per finished second by AI model: a 30-second video costs 15 credits on Claude Haiku 5.5, or 54 on Claude Opus 5.5, the default on paid plans. A 1080p export adds 2 credits.
Watch out for: the free plan is a preview, not a download. There are no avatars or presenters. Videos top out at 90 seconds, so a long product walkthrough is better as a screen recording. It only reads what an anonymous visitor can see, so for an app behind a login, use your marketing page or upload screenshots.

2. Pictory: best for turning articles into stock-footage clips at volume
What you give it: a blog post, product page or help article URL, or a script.
What you get: Pictory writes a script from the page, then builds scenes from matched stock clips and images (from libraries such as Getty and Storyblocks), with an AI voiceover and captions. It can also build a brand kit with your logo and colors from your homepage.
Pricing: there is no free plan, but there is a 14-day free trial with 300 credits (up to 10 minutes of video, 720p, watermarked). Starter is $29 a month, or $25 a month billed yearly, for 2,000 credits a month: up to 30 minutes of 1080p video without Pictory branding.
Watch out for: the visuals come from stock libraries, so the video won't show your product's actual interface, and other brands can end up with the same clips.
3. Lumen5: best for building videos from articles in a storyboard
What you give it: a blog post, article, PDF or a few bullet points.
What you get: Lumen5 breaks the content into scenes in a drag-and-drop storyboard. You fill them with stock media and your brand fonts and colors, scene by scene, with an AI voiceover if you want one.
Pricing: a free plan makes 5 videos a month at 720p. Paid plans start at $19 a month billed yearly, also at 720p; 1080p starts at $59 a month billed yearly.
Watch out for: every video is an assembly job in the storyboard, which is control if you want it and work if you don't. The templated, stock-footage look fits a LinkedIn feed better than a product page.
4. InVideo AI: best for narrated videos from a prompt
What you give it: a prompt describing the video you want.
What you get: InVideo's AI agent writes the script and assembles the video from stock footage and generative models (its pricing page lists Veo 3.1, Sora 2, Kling and Seedance), with a voiceover and a timeline editor for changes.
Pricing: a free plan with limited credits that reset every week. Starter is $20 a month, or $10 a month billed yearly on the current promotion, for 400 credits a month and 1080p export without a watermark. 4K export needs the Max plan at $250 a month.
Watch out for: credits drain at different rates by model and don't roll over, and the video is built from stock and generated footage rather than from your site's own visuals. It is strongest on longer narrative videos.
5. Creatify: best for avatar ads from a product page
What you give it: a product or app link from Amazon, Shopify, the App Store or Google Play.
What you get: Creatify pulls the product's images and details, writes a script, and has an AI avatar deliver it as a UGC-style ad for TikTok or Meta. The entry plan includes about 300 AI actors.
Pricing: a free plan gives 10 credits a month, enough for up to 2 watermarked video ads. Standard is $15 a month, or $10 a month billed yearly, for 55 credits a month, which Creatify says covers about 11 fifteen-second avatar videos. Credits expire after two months.
Watch out for: the format is a presenter talking about your product. If you sell software and the interface is the point, a presenter-led ad is the wrong format.
How to choose
- You sell software and want people to see the product. Pick a tool that rebuilds your page, so the video shows your real screens and your brand rather than stock clips.
- You publish articles and want social clips from them. A summarize-and-stock tool is the fastest path, and the per-minute price is low.
- You run paid social for physical products. Avatar ad tools are built for testing many UGC-style variants.
- Your app lives behind a login. URL tools only see what an anonymous visitor sees. Point them at your public marketing page, or upload screenshots of the product.
- You need a vertical cut for social. Check that the tool exports 9:16 as well as 16:9 before you commit.
How we compiled this list
We included tools that accept a website, blog or product URL as the starting point, or that are widely recommended for this job, that produce a finished video rather than single clips, and that publish their prices. Prices are list prices in US dollars from each vendor's pricing page on November 3, 2026. Vendors change them often, so check the current page before you buy.
We make Motionflare. We have tried to describe every tool, ours included, by the job it does best and by where it falls short. If you spot something out of date, email [email protected] and we'll fix it.
Frequently asked questions
What's the best tool to turn my website URL into a marketing video?
It depends on what the video should show. If you want your actual product, logo and colors in a polished motion-graphics video, use a tool that rebuilds the page, such as Motionflare. If you want to turn an article into a stock-footage clip, Pictory and Lumen5 are built for that. For an AI presenter selling a product, look at Creatify.
Is there a free AI tool that makes a video from a website?
Most of them have something free. Motionflare gives new accounts a watermarked preview of up to 10 seconds, and exporting the video takes a $15 credit pack. Lumen5's free plan makes 5 videos a month at 720p, InVideo AI has limited weekly credits, and Creatify gives 10 credits a month with a watermark. Pictory has a 14-day trial instead of a free plan.
Can AI make a product video from my website without avatars or stock footage?
Yes. Motion-graphics tools build the video from your own site instead. Motionflare reuses the page's screenshots, logo and colors and sets your headlines as type, so nothing in the video comes from a stock library or an avatar. You can add AI narration if you want a voice, or leave it as music only.
Can it read pages behind a login?
No URL tool on this list can log in to your app. They see what an anonymous visitor sees, so login walls, SSO and paywalled docs are out of reach. Use your public marketing page, or upload screenshots of the screens you want to show.
How long should a website video be?
For a landing page hero or a social post, 15 to 30 seconds is usually enough for one clear idea. A product walkthrough can run 60 to 90 seconds. Use 16:9 for an embed on your site and 9:16 for vertical social.
Can I turn a landing page into an animated explainer video?
Yes. Paste the landing page URL into a URL-to-video tool and choose an explainer length. Motionflare turns the page's sections into scenes, animates the real screenshots and can add narration. Our AI explainer video page shows how it works.
